Hasan Turasan was born in 1965 in Cappadocia, Urgup, one of the primary wine growing regions in Turkiye. After completing his education in Istanbul, he started to work at Turasan Bagcilik ve Sarapcilik (Turasan Vineyard and Winery) in 1984 as a third generation representative. Married to Selda Turasan with a daughter and a son, Hasan Turasan has been serving as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the family company since 2000, and the Honorary Consulate of Spain for the Central Anatolia Region since 2014.
