"He was born in 1961 in Niğde, to a family engaged in farming and wine production. He graduated from Ankara University Faculty of Political Sciences in 1985. Having completed 40 years in business life, Erem served in various positions in the Sabancı Group and Esas Holding companies. Erem, who became a partner of Gülor Winery Inc. in 2010 and currently serves as the vice chairman of the board of directors, also provides management consultancy to family businesses."
